Once upon a time… there were two young Germany living in Dubai not knowing about each others' existence…
Es war einmal … zwei junge Deutsche lebten in Dubai und wussten nichts von der Existenz des anderen ...

Jenny took pleasure in girly days on the beach, joining events and going on holidays with her friends. A beauty saloon membership and sparkling nights out rounded up her life.
Jenny genoss es Lady-Strandtage einzulegen, Events zu besuchen und mit ihren Freunden wegzufahren. Eine Mitgliedschaft im Schönheitssalon und ein glänzendes Nachtleben rundeten ihr Leben ab.

Ben enjoyed his adventurous life in the desert riding motocross bike and jeep with his best mates. He loved all kinds of parties and his ‘German Currywurst' events were famous within Dubai 's German speaking community.
Ben hatte ein Leben voller Abenteuer in der Wüste: Motocross- und Jeep-Safaris mit seinem Kumpels. Er liebte alle Arten von Parties und seine ‚German Currywurst'-Events waren in Dubai's deutschsprachiger Community berühmt berüchtigt.

Then it happened ... on a dune-bashing Jeep Safari through the endless sand desert close to the Liwa oasis Jenny and Ben met for the first time- in the United Arab Emirates . At the bonfire they shared one blanket and came closer ...
Dann ist es passiert ... bei einer Jeep-Safari nahe der Liwa-Oase trafen sich Jenny und Ben zum ersten Mal- in der Wüste in den Vereingten Arabischen Emiraten. Am Lagerfeuer teilten sie eine Decke und kamen sich näher und näher...

Four days later Ben decided he HAD TO stay in the UAE for a while longer just to stay with lovely Jenny. To make best use of the time left, they went on a trip to Dibba on the UAE East Coast and the Sultanate of Oman.
Vier Tage später entschied Ben, dass er noch ein bisschen länger in den VAE bleiben MUSSTE, um bei der lieben Jenny sein zu können. Um die restliche Zeit noch gut zu nutzen, fuhren sie nach Dibba an der Ostküste der VAE und im Sultanat Oman.

Also they enjoyed the Dubai life style together with their beloved friends...

The Leaving Party ... Ben decided to go back to Germany for job reasons, and of course Jenny had to come along. A great Leaving Party with all dear lovely friends was arranged at the rooftop pool of the Pearl Continental Hotel in Dubai - of course without any alcohol ...
Die Abschiedsparty ... Ben entschied aus beruflichen zurück nach Stuttgart zu gehen, natürlich musste Jenny mitkommen. Die Dachterrasse des Pearls Continental Hotels mit Panorama-Pool war der perfekte Ort um mit den vielen lieben Freunden zu feiern - natürlich ohne Alkohol ...

One day after the leaving party Ben left to Germany and had to wait for one long month for Jenny to arrive at Stuttgart airport.
Schon am nächsten Tag nach der Abschiedsparty ist Ben nach Deutschland geflogen und musste einen langen Monat warten bis Jenny in Stuttgart ankam.

After one month of waiting, Jenny arrived at Stuttgart airport without luggage ( just to make the whole arrival more dramatic ?!?) and the reunited couple went to the Götzenburg castle, having a great time with the ghost of old knight Mr. Götz von Berlichingen …huuuuh!
Nach einem Monat Warten kam Jenny endlich am Stuttgarter Flughafen an - zur Erhöhung der Spannung auch ohne Gpäck ! Das neu vereinte Paar reiste sodann zur Götzenburg, im Geiste des Geistes von Götz von Berlichingen ... huuuuh!

In Stuttgart a new home was set up with the first visitor coming from Dubai - on the first day in the new apartment. Germany could actually be very nice!
In Stuttgart wurde ein neues Heim eingerichtet mit dem ersten Besucher aus Dubai - am ersten Tag in der neuen Wohung. Deutschland kann wirklich schön sein!

Spontaneously they moved to New York City for a few months, Ben's company needed him there urgently. Lots of sight seeing had to be done...
Spontan sind sie für Ben's Firma ein paar Monate lang nach New York City gegangen. Alles musste gesehen werden...

They also decided to take a Harley Davidson trip with Ben's mum and brother along the West Coast and the "Wild West": Los Angeles, San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Las Vegas, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Route 66, Palm Springs and back to Los Angeles ...
Zum Abschluss der Zeit in New York ging es auf Harley Davidson-Tour mit Ben's Mutter und Bruder entlang der Westkueste und durch den "Wilden Westen": Los Angeles, San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Las Vegas, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Route 66, Palm Springs und zurück nach Los Angeles ...

When back in Stuttgart, Europe had to be explored by the couple (again)... Switzerland and Italy were good for a start.
Zurück in Stuttgart, musste Europa erstmal (wieder) erkundet werden... Schweiz und Italien waren für den Anfang gut.

No! Life was not just black and white there...
Nein! Das Leben dort war nicht nur schwarz und weiß...

The German East Coast with the Island of Rügen are really beautiful.
Die Ostsee und die Insel Rügen sind wirklich schön.

A motorbike tour through the alps of France with beautiful wine yards put you into a world of dreams...
Eine Motorradtour durch die französichen Alpen und den Weinbergen versetzen jeden in eine Traumwelt...

...and in and around Stuttgart Jenny and Ben had a lot of fun with friends and family.
